Geoff Loos
Managing Director
Mr. Loos has over sixteen years of experience advising clients on both domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. Mr. Loos’ transactional experience covers mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, corporate investments, capital raises, debt placements and other value-creating transactions.
He has advised clients on a variety of complex and highly successful transactions in the consumer/e-commerce, food, health and wellness, industrial and technology sectors. Representative clients include Albion Minerals, baggalini, Chosen Foods, LifeVantage, Mity-Lite, Nelson Laboratories, Omega Protein, Tecumseh Poultry/Smart Chicken, Walker Edison, YoCream and ZAGG.
Prior to joining CapM, Mr. Loos was a Director in D.A. Davidson’s investment banking group and was a founding member of the firm’s consumer and technology investment banking teams. During his sixteen-year career at D.A. Davidson, Mr. Loos completed over $3.5 billion in investment banking transactions.
Mr. Loos actively supports the growth of the Utah business community by planning and contributing to value-added events and participating in leading local organizations, such as serving as the current Chairman of Utah’s Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
